We had really high expectations for the Sleep Mantra Mattress Topper given the resounding Amazon reviews. However, we were left wanting more in terms of a supportive nights rest. The pillow-top feels exceptionally soft and luxurious upon first laying down, but as the night progresses, the lack of cradling, pressure relieving support is glaring. However, for those looking to sleep on a cool, cloud – this is the next best thing.

Their proprietary visco-elastic material provides a comfortable sink-in for individuals of medium to heavy bodyweights, but does not respond well to lighter bodyweights. Our Impression
Tempur-Pedic is a well-known, long-tenured brand in the sleep space, and it was exciting to see them create a topper at a fraction of the price of their mattresses (albeit at the high end of topper pricing). The TEMPUR material is extremely supportive while being on the firm side, but I found the lack of breathability made sleeping with this topper uncomfortable for me personally. While this topper enhanced an already-high quality mattress in good shape, it failed to rejuvenate an older, more worn-in mattress in our guest bedroom. Considering the high price point, there are better options available when it comes to mattress toppers.
